The ambiance is beautiful, a lot of chic floral decor and lovely views. I sat at the bar and could look up into the nextdoor hotel's pool! The bar area is also pretty lively on a Saturday night -- plenty of opportunities to network or meet new friends. For my drink and dinner, I ordered an espresso martini and the ravioli. Both were flavorful and presented beautifully. I did wish there was more ravioli for the price, but that's the cost of eating at the Wharf. The bar service was solid -- it was impressively attentive, especially given that the bar was entirely full. Definitely a good spot for a nice dinner that really feels like a night out.

La Vie.. what did we do to deserve you! I am so happy that I decided to host a Chic Saturday event here. The restaurant is so beautiful and the views are amazing. The staff were very nice and patient. We did not have to wait more than 2 minutes for a refill on mimosas. Our server was very attentive and sweet. The FOOD 100/10. EVERYTHING was delicious. My favorite items were the banana pancakes, truffle Mac and cheese, salmon, turkey bacon, Cesar salad... lol just do the unlimited brunch option and bottomless mimosas, because they were hitting! So much natural light, your photos will be gorgeous. I definitely recommend La Vie. This is now easily one of my top 3 places in DC.

La Vie lived up to the hype. My friends have been telling me about this spot for years, and finally Ive made it! Me and my bestie came here after enjoying our "Friendsgiving" at the Penthouse on La Vie. We only sat at the bar and enjoyed some mocktails, but the decor and ambiance are definitely a romantic, fun, and colorful vibe. Truly Perfect for party planning and hosting.. Unfortunately, per the bartender, most cocktails are already pre-made, so modifying them to a mocktail version is not offered. However, The seating at the bar is so spacious and comfy..you can sit there ALL day. The customer service from the hostess to the bartenders were friendly and open. Ive heard La Vie's brunch is legendary..so I'll definitely be back! yes, yelpers..highly recommend
